omg i have tried (and failed) to read dorian gray THREE TIMES ๐ญ i don't know why i can't stick it out because i LIKE THE BOOK I LIKE THE STORY I LIKE GAY but i think i just always read it when i had a headache so now i associate it with headaches ๐ maybe i'll try again next year ! (fourth times the charm...right??) also i do enjoy classics and don't struggle THAT much reading them so i do not understand my resistance to a book I KNOW I'LL LIKE
and about beautiful boy, yeah... i seriously need to be legally not allowed to watch it because i fear it would be my 13th reason
About the romcom resolution.. I have just the book...
The picture of Dorian Gray! It's the best intro to classics and it's a banger, and it would definitely share a Venn diagram with romcoms.
Also take it from someone who has watched Beautiful Boy... don't watch it.
